Activities

  1. Review assigned construction engineering deliverables received from CONTRACTORs, Vendors or generated internally
  2. Prepare and/or update civil/structural Approved for Construction (AFC) drawings
  3. Ensure that Basis of Design, Project Specifications for buildings, civil and structural works are adhered to for all prepared and reviewed deliverables.
  4. Preparation of Civil and Structural MTOs for the purposes of enquiries, procurement or internal COMPANY estimates.
  5. Interface with other Project engineering discipline Designers during the preparation or review of deliverables.
  6. Follow up fabrication activities on site and in contractors’ fabrication yards to ensure compliance with engineering designs.
  7. Support Project Review audits for the different project phases
  8. Ensure the quality and integrity of deliverables are of the highest quality so that they meet safety, constructability and functionality requirements.
  9. Ensure proper follow-up on red-line markups and as-built documentation and close-out.
  10. Occasional site visits to support site surveys or existing structures integrity assessment when required for design development.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Professional Experience (min. number of years): 7
  • Experience within project: (min. number of years): 5
