Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all Process engineering related work is executed to meet all the requirements of the project
  • Ensure that the process designs are in full compliance with COMPANY general specifications and other standards, which meet overall project objectives to provide safe, operable, reliable, and cost-effective facilities.
  • Anticipate problems in the process discipline and inform hierarchies and advise on proactive remedial measures.
  • Develop the process concept and other deliverables and ensure they are issued within schedule.
  • Ensures timely review and return of process deliverables to the ENGINEERING CONTRACTOR.
  • Responsible for issuing process weekly report and participating in weekly Engineering meetings.
  • Reviews on a weekly basis with other engineering disciplines, consistency, interdisciplinary checks and interfaces for a technically sound design that meets the projects requirements and schedule.
  • Review process engineering drawings/diagrams (P&IDs, PFDs…) and provide requisite technical expertise
  • Prepare responses to technical queries requested from ENGINEERING CONTRACTOR with the aim of adding value by minimizing costs without sacrificing safety or level of quality.
  • Participate in Project Reviews (HSE, 3D reviews, PTRs, HAZID/HAZOP, etc.) giving steering to process and to ensure that all process related actions are closed within schedule.
  • Use of process simulation software (HYSIS, UNISIM, PROII & OLGA) and interpretation of results.
  • Ensure the conformity of development, on existing facilities in OML 58 is as close as possible to design.
  • Ensure review and delivery of Process engineering deliverables and work packages from internal and/or External resources.
  • Provide support to and follow-up of process safety engineering related subjects.
    Provide process input and assistance in the preparation and technical evaluation of Call-For-Tender/contract dossiers for the future EPC Contract

Qualifications

  • B.Eng. in relevant Engineering.
  • 5 years process engineering or related discipline. Candidates with less experience but with strong aptitude of process engineering will also be considered.
  • Proven ability to execute projects through the full project cycle- FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC & commissioning
  • Front-end project development experience, Site modification experience, and management of medium size projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, organizational and team skills, and a strong work ethic.
  • Brownfield SIMOPS experience is a plus
  • Good knowledge of international design codes / standards and TotalEnergies General Specifications
