Introduction
Introduction
Stakeholder engagement and management are essential in defining and realizing successful projects. They ensure that expectations are aligned, risks are managed, and collaboration is strengthened for better outcomes. This module draws on a structured approach that emphasizes identifying, analyzing, and interacting with stakeholders at every stage of a project.
Definitions of Terms:
- Stakeholder: An individual or group of individuals with a vested interest or stake in the decision-making activities of a business, organisation or project.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Process that organisations undertake to listen to, collaborate with, or inform (or a combination of all three) their extant stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management: Process of identifying, organising, and engaging with individuals or groups who have an interest in or influence over a project to manage their requirements and expectations.
